# 8 × 20 Garden Chicken Coop

A covered chicken run with a raised henhouse, outside nest boxes, wide cleaning access and a buried mesh barrier.

Build a covered garden coop on an 8 × 20 ft base, with a 6 × 8 ft raised henhouse, three outside nest bays and a walk-in run. The compact ramp rises 40 in over a 60 in run. A continuous buried mesh skirt turns outward below grade and continues beneath the gate. The gable roof keeps its 6:12 pitch and horizontal rafter ties. Dimensioned drawings, assembly instructions and editable CAD accompany the free plan.
