Keep split firewood raised and ventilated beneath a shallow roof. An open-front timber shed with a slatted floor and sides.

Build a compact firewood shed with six posts, paired rafters and a single-sheet roof. The 8 x 4 ft frame stands on six supports, with gaps between the floor and wall slats for airflow. Follow the illustrated guide for cutting, assembly, bracing, anchoring and waterproofing.
