# Songbird roost box

Compact cedar roost box with six interior perches and a side that pivots open for cleaning.

Build a compact wooden shelter for roosting songbirds. Six short interior perches and a pivoting side provide a sheltered chamber that can be opened for cleaning. The package reconciles the conflicting stock and perch dimensions in the source drawing.

Based on dimensions in Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Roost Box for Songbirds. DIY Plans drew the CAD and illustrations and wrote these instructions. The compact board size, shorter perches, hole locations and door clearances are documented adaptations. WDFW has not reviewed or endorsed this package.
